There's a bike ride for everything in Austin and now for Medicinal and Edible Plants!

 

Join Eric and Tamara as we look in the nooks and crannies around hyde park at what sorts of wonderful edible and medicinal plants are emerging.  Sponsored by the Wildflower School of Botanical Medicine

 

Suggested donation $5 Please let us know if you decide not to come so we know approximately how many to expect

    Yes, thanks to Nita and Tam we had this wonderful idea of a bike ride after a wildflower school class one evening develop LAST YEAR!!!and I am still hoping to see it manifest.     I think it depends what we find. Many plants that are edible are also medicinal and many medicinal are also edible--though just because it is edible doesnt mean it tastes "good". How's that for an answer! I think since we are herbalists, there will probably be more information on the medicinal properties.
