Night Climbing at Seismic

Due to the popularity of the last few night climbing sessions and because Main Event gets expensive after a while, I am going to start scheduling more outdoors meetups during the week.

I will try to make it to Seismic around 6:30PM (though traffic may keep me up a bit) and plan to be out there until about 9 or 9:30. The greenbelt officially closes down at 10PM.

Please note that you will need a headlamp, flashlight, or ground lamp of some sort. Remember to bring a rope if you have one and have at least a harness and climbing shoes.

If you have no belayed yet, please let us know in advance so we can provide assistance.

I would recommend leaving the dogs at home since it will be too dark to keep a good eye on them.

I really appreciate the more experienced people helping out beginners and particularly in lead climbing the ropes for us.

See you guys there! Looking forward to it. Leaving downtown @4pm. I have enough equipment for a full track.

Hi Roman -- I'm thinking about joining you on Wed. but...I haven't climbed for a awhile and am a bit nervous about it. What will you all be climbing?

Seismic is a pretty newbie friendly climbing area, plenty of 5.7s and 5.8s to go around and I plan to set up a pretty good number of them. I like to keep the meet ups relatively low key unless I state in the description that it won't be good for newer climbers.
