Saving Money with Residential Solar

Thinking about going solar? Want to learn more about how solar works and how it can be used to save more than $1,000 per on electric bills?

Attend this hour long solar tutorial, which will be followed by a 30-minute Question and Answer session that will allow you to ask all of your curious questions about installing a solar power array on your home's rooftop.

During the meeting, we will examine everyone's rooftop using a solar satellite analysis tool to determine how much space is available for solar panels. Next we will perform a shade analysis. Last, but not least, we will give you an estimate of how much your solar power your rooftop will be able to generate.

In order for you to get the most of out of this meeting, please dig out your last electricity bills so that we can see how many kilowatt hours your home has used over the past 12 months.  The more bills, the more accurate your solar forecast will be.

If you dont have all your bills, just bring one. As long as we have your account number we will show you how to long on to Austin Energy's website and download your last 12 month's usage.

Look forward to meeting everyone!

Great turn out. Now we have 14 more savvy solar shoppers out there making smart purchase decisions when they decide to invest in solar!

Ok... here it goes. Robert gives you the information you need to compare systems and not get screwed. You should attend if you are going to be investing in Solar to protect yourself. If you have the basics to compare the companies that bid on your work then you will be getting the best bang for your buck. It would have been nice if there were more companies like this around in the 70's. Like any other industry that deals with these complex issues there is a good chance you can get taken to the cleaners. There is one more feature that you should always consider. Get references from existing customers. Find out what they like about their system and what they wish they would have done different. A retrofit on your home can be a very large chunk of change. If you are building a home make sure you consider in advance your Solar options. Even if there were no rebates you should GO SOLAR its the right thing to do. Arm yourself with the info Rob offers and more.
