Texas Game Day at Double Wide

Howdy Texpats!

Football season is right around the corner and based on the results of our Fall Sports Poll, 60% of you responded with "What? There are other sports besides football?".  Nice!

Other poll stats of note: 62% of those that responded are Longhorn fans, 73% are Cowboys fans, almost 50% want to see a Rangers Hockey game live, 95% are interested in seeing a live football game (we will definitely organize something), and 70% of you are happy with having events located below 14th Street. If you would still like to take the poll, you can find it here: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/BCV8RLY

So starting Saturday August 31st, the fine folks at Double Wide have not only agreed to host a Texas Football game day every Saturday during the college football season, but to also offer our group some pretty fantastic beer, alcohol and food specials.

Specials for the games:

Hey hey! We're still at Double Wide all day. The Fightin' Texas Aggies just beat the hell outta Rice, and the next round of Texas games starts at 7pm. Come join us for happy hour and some legit queso before the games begin!

Is there a time most people are going? I'm thinking of coming around 7pm instead of noon, now that I see the full schedule and Manziel is benched for a half. Thoughts?

Hey, Stephanie! That's no problem at all. It's an all-day, come for the games you want sort of thing. See you at 7!
