SEAS Monmouth 2013 Basic Sailing Courses
Learn To Sail
Red Cross certified sailing instructors Combined classroom and hands-on instruction will give the adult beginning sailor the skills and confidence to operate a small sailboat. The course includes four classroom sessions and two weekend sailing sessions, (rescheduled if inclement weather), on the scenic Shrewsbury River aboard Lasers or 14-17 foot sloops. Successful completion of the course leads to a Red Cross Basic Sailing certificate.
Swimming test is required at the second class and students are required to provide a life preserver for the water sessions. Ages 18 and up only. 6 SESSIONS Mon & Thurs, classroom sessions September 9,12 17,19, and September 14 and 21, on the water, from 9 am-4 pm
