Government in the Doctor’s Office presented by Dr. Daniel Weiss

Government in the Doctor’s Office:  Ways Government Harms Us, and Healthy Alternatives to our Ailing System

A board-certified endocrinologist and Director of "Your Diabetes Endocrine Nutrition Group", an independent practice of eleven persons in Mentor, Dr. Weiss will be speaking about some of the ways government harms the doctor-patient relationship - They may surprise you.  He will then offer some free market answers to our ailing healthcare system.

Before Dr. Weiss became an independent practice he in 2003, he was an endocrinologist with UniversityMednet for 17 years, which had 110 physicians at its peak.

Dr. Weiss is on the Board of Directors of the American Board of Obesity Medicine and has a special interest in nutrition and is one of the few persons in the State of Ohio who is a board-certified physician nutrition specialist.

He is also one of a select group of clinical researchers designated a Certified Physician Investigator; there are less than 1200 in the world.

His approach to patient care is summarized in his group's mission statement:  "to provide the best possible care, support and understanding for people with endocrine disorders".

Dr. Weiss was fascinating to listen to. His explanation from a doctor's viewpoint was new and interesting. Lots of good information!
