Alternative Solution to a Third Party, presented by Dale Fellows

Many conservatives are frustrated with the Republican Party establishment and some are even calling for a third party.  Another option is to create change from inside the party by joining the local Republican Party Central Committee as a representative of your district.

Dale Fellows, Chairman of the Lake County Republican Central Committee, will present the new Lake County GOP Platform recently ratified and adopted by the Lake County Republican Central Committee members.  You may be pleasantly surprised by what is contained in this Platform.  Dale will also supply a list of available Central Committee seats for those interested in making a difference from inside the party.

Join us to learn more about this option, and to offer feedback to the Lake County GOP.  With an important election coming up next year and primaries in the Spring, it's important for the party to get a pulse of the people.

In addition to being the Chairman of the Lake County GOP, Dale Fellows has been a Board Member of the Lake County Board of Elections for 20 years, is the immediate past-president of the Ohio Association of Elections Officials, is a former Lake County Commissioner, has held many other public service positions and has been involved in a long list of community organizations, far too many to include here.

Disclosure:  As Mentor 9-12 is a nonpartisan organization, I reached out to the Lake County Democratic Party to see if they would like to join us and share their platform and Central Committee opportunities but I did not hear back.  Also for the sake of full disclosure, I am a new member of the Lake GOP Central Committee, as are a couple of our Mentor 9-12 members.

Great meeting. Lots of back and forth, plus lots of insight by Dale, as always. The "behind-the-scenes" stories were enlightening.
