“The New Health Care Act: How it Will Work for you and the Country” will be presented at 7 p.m. April 23 in Room H-101 of Lakeland Community College in Kirtland.
The program and parking are free of charge and shuttles will be available from all parking lots to the H Building.
The presenters will be:
* J.B. Silvers, professor of health care finance at Case Western Reserve Weatherhead School of Management and the School of Medicine.
Silvers will discuss why the system is needed, how it will work and how the insurance exchanges will function.
* Lake Health President and CEO Cynthia Moore-Hardy and Vice President of Government and Community Affairs Gary Robinson. They’ll discuss how their health care system is changing.
* Dr. Robert Juhasz, medical director of Cleveland Clinic’s Willoughby Hills Family Health Center; and Dr. Michael Anderson, vice president and chief medical officer of University Hospitals Case Medical Center.
They will address how patient care will be impacted.
