Need new gear ? Have extra gear to sell or trade ? Or do you just want to car camp with friends ?
All you OTs (old timers) with extra, gently used gear can bring it out, set it up, and maybe gain some space in your 'camping closet'. Then go home knowing you've helped a fellow traveler get started in what we love.
Come out and play with us for the weekend. Several acres of pasture for tents, pop-ups, or travel trailers (sorry, no hookups). Also lots of wooded acres if that is your pleasure. Bonfire will begin at O dark thirty, weather permitting.
This event will be great for newbies to the "wonderful world of backpacking". Check out everyone's gear and ask questions. I'll bet that if you ask Nancy nicely, she will give you a cooking demo. And I will show you how to make an alcohol stove to take home with you. Plus, a great opportunity to pick up a new-to-you tent. sleeping bag, etc, at a bargain price. Even if you are not camping, come for the bonfire and camaraderie.
