Welcome, New York A.L. Lit Fans!

If your a book lover who enjoys reading literature written by African-American and Latino authors, meeting new people while having fun, then this is the group for you. A monthly book will be chosen to read, and reviewed. Reviews will be shared with authors and publishers so our voice can be heard by authors and publishers. Members will be informed of publishing news, events, workshops and seminars. We will host guest speakers, authors and contributers to the publishing industry to discuss self-publishing, getting published in the big houses and much more at our meetings. The mission of this meet up is to support established, new and upcomming authors while saluting the vast oasis of talented and gifted African American and Latino authors and contributors to the arts of color so it can continue to grow. This meet up wants to make the statement that people of color do read by books and support the arts. If you
are looking for a little more than just a book club that reads then look no more. Meetings are hosted at venues throughout the N.Y.C. area where we can Chat and Dine. Males & Females are invited to join us on our literary journey. We would love to see you at our meetings soon.
