What: four local writers will read from their own work (in English) at the culture group’s venue on the Geldersekade. Each reading will be followed by a discussion. There will be wine, tea, coffee, and snacks.

On Saturday April 12th, four local writers read from their own work to a mixed audience of members of the Amsterdam Culture Group and the Amsterdam Writers Group. Each reading is followed by a discussion. Wine, coffee, tea and snacks are included. Afterwards we'll head over to a nearby restaurant for dinner.
- Deborah Knight: will be reading poetry.
- Lyn Drummond: will read an excerpt from her book Where To Go For a Seven-Year Cycle (published 2011, Ginninderra Press). A philosophical, often off the main tourist beat travel book based on the author’s seven years’ travel experiences working mainly in central and eastern Europe.
- Charlie Blakemore: will read the last chapter of his fairy tale/ fantasy story: "The Zither and the Lark"
- Stephanie Koh: will be reading poetry
