"Focus your attention within. You will feel a new power, a new strength, a new peace- in body, mind, and spirit."- Paramhansa Yogananda
Want to feel more grounded in faith and less swayed by the opinions of others or changes in outer circumstances? Meditation, the yogic science of ancient India, allows one to live more in the center of his/her being and less on the periphery of outside things. This anchor of inner security reduces the feeling of being on a "hamster wheel" of mental busyness. In turn one can let go of worries and move from a calm and even courageous sense of inner knowing.
In this meeting, we will explore meditation as a tool to connect with the inner security of faith. We will practice scientifically proven techniques of the great yoga master Paramhansa Yogananda that can allow us to "choose our battles" more wisely and intuitively know what action is wise for us at any given moment.
All spiritual affiliations of non are welcome! No experience is required!
We now do some gentle yoga postures so comfortable loose fitting clothing is recommended!
