Non-injury

Ahimsa, "non-injury," is a bedrock teaching of yoga, and with regular awareness/practice, can increasingly attract like-minded kinder energy within/without that allows one to radiate a strong yet peaceful aura.

In the quest to "get ahead" and acquire more techniques and knowledge, practicing non-injury is an often overlooked topic and I am looking forward to exploring this deeply powerful subject. It helps that we already have an innately kind group of souls that come regularly to our Wed meditations to share the focus with!

In my own experience, ahimsa truly has the power to heal. Practicing, however imperfectly, awareness of others has allowed me to have relationships large and small with the space and chance to actually mutually connect, learn, and grow. In situations with difficult people, the teachings have encouraged me to not judge so harshly, that it's myself that I hurt most if I hold grudges.

Yoga after all, is state and the pathway of divine union, of coming together, of remembering in the end that we are One.

Blessings and light.
