Welcome to the Anchorage Dance Meetup Group!
Providing a centralized resource for dancers and dance organizers to share information about lessons, workshops, and DANCES!
This site posts weekly and special dance lesson events for all partner dance styles. It also lists special events including dances and workshops hosted by a variety of groups. Dance lessons and events are great for getting exercise and meeting new people!
Notes:
1. Most of the events listed are also advertised elsewhere or have their own following, so the number of dancers listed as going to each event in meetup does not accurately reflect the turnout at the event.
You do not have to RSVP to attend an event!
2. Each event's COVID requirements are predetermined by the event organizers. Contact them directly with any questions.
3. We strive to make this a safe space to connect with other dancers. Please inform the organizers of any bullying, harassment and inappropriate behavior. Offenders will be reported and banned from the group. False accusations will also result in being banned.
