|Next weekend the Alaska Salsa Festival is taking place at the Hotel Captain Cook, in Anchorage, Alaska. This 4 day event, August 1-4, 2013. It is the largest dance festival in the State of Alaska. Shows and dance workshops are presented by famous dancers from Las Vegas, LA and Philadelphia along with the talented musicians, Voz A Voz from New York City. The annual Alaska Salsa Festival returns for the 4th year to present Alaska’s best dance event.|
Attendees will be able to learn to dance for the first time or improve their skills by participating in some of the largest dance education workshops. No partner is needed in these dance classes. Guest of all ages, couples and singles attend the classes, parties and shows by nationally and internationally known performers.
Participants will have a variety options to choose from when purchasing their festival pass. For those who have an unstoppable desire to learn more, who want to sacrifice their sleep time to have more fun at the festival and who wish to experience the festival at its fullest, a Full Event Pass or Full VIP Event Pass is the pass that allows participants to have, full access to all workshops on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and complete access to all of the shows and parties during the festival on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. VIP Passes are currently sold out.
For the night owls who simply want to live the nights to its fullest, a Full Night Party Pass is available that allows participants complete access to all of the shows and parties during the festival on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The Full Workshop Pass is an education-only pass, offering guests unlimited access to the workshops on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, excluding the special workshops. This means you can attend all and any class level at the time specified on the schedule. All levels are welcome.
For the attendees that are afraid they have two left feet, the Alaska Salsa Festival has a solution. An option to purchase a BOOTCAMP Pass is available. Participants will learn the fundamentals of Salsa and Bachata. In only one weekend this program will take you from “zero to hero on the dance floor”. The Bootcamp is approximately 10 hours, Friday 4 pm to 7pm and Saturday 11 pm to 7 pm.
For those who have more limited time constraints but still want to take part in the Alaska Salsa Festival, a 1 Night Only or 1 Day Only Passes are available for purchase at the door.
