Acrylic Painting 101

Come join us on Wednesdays to create art at the park. I will schedule these every two weeks so we can plan accordingly.

We will walk you through each step to create your own version of this masterpiece. This one involves a bit more mixing of colors and boundaries so that the lines are quite blurred.

Please bring the following for the class:
Primed, framed canvas not bigger than 14"
acrylic paint

paint brushes: a few different sizes ranging from wide to fine.

pencil

eraser
palatte
rag
apron (or wear clothes you would not mind staining)

If any of you would like to me get the canvas/brushes for you, please email me. I would be happy to help.

I will update on the venue as we get closer to the date. It will depend on how many are attending.

This should be a lot of fun! I look forward to seeing you there!

Location will be update once we have everything confirmed.

I would like to know exactly what supplies I need to bring- particular type of brushes and paint? I haven't done acrylic painting before, and look forward to learning this with other creative folks.

We will be attempting an abstract painting this week. It is never easy to paint from an abstract as they are very organic and not easy to reproduce. This lesson will help in understanding the fundamentals of mixing colors. This is the original we will be attempting:

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
