Master Class: Romantic and Post-Romantic Europe w/ Thomas Muraco

ASPS is proud to announce the launch of this upcoming year's performance and educational series Spring Into Song.  Emerging artists will be featured in our vocal recital-competition and master class series, with coaching and collaboration with world-renowned pianists, vocal coaches, and master performers from all over the world.

Overview:

 Singers are invited to participate in an extraordinary afternoon of Romantic and Post-Romantic art song from across Europe.  Thomas Muraco has partnered in performance with some of the world's most renowned singers: Martina Arroyo, Arleen Augér, John Cheek, Phyllis Curtin, Mary Dunleavy, Faith Esham, Denyce Graves, Ben Heppner,  Sumi Jo, and Benita Valente, to name a few.  Singers are encouraged to bring songs from beyond the traditional Italian, French, and German repertoire - especially welcome are art songs in Russian, Czech, Norwegian, and Spanish!

Many of our special guests serve on our Advisory Board, and grace us with their time and expertise in order to promote the learning and mastery of the most essential aspects of art song interpretation.

Participants are selected by audition.  Many of our participants have successfully completed graduate studies at the world's finest music schools, and are poised to launch professional music careers.  

 Tickets to all ASPS master class & recital events are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
