Want to step up your pottery painting skills? In this class I’ll teach you the Japanese art of Sumie painting. It’s easy if you have the right brush! I have taught non-artists this art form with amazing results, each unique and charming in its own right. I’ll teach you to paint bamboo, koi fish and birds through skill-building techniques, live demo and practice. Then, with your new Sumie skills, you will paint on your choice of pottery. Use and enjoy it every day or you might love it so much, you’ll want to proudly display it!

**** ALL MATERIALS, TOOLS, and POTTERY* ARE INCLUDED ****

If you don't want to pay with PayPal and prefer to pay by check, please contact me, (Renee) through Meetup.

* Registration fee includes a piece of pottery priced at $20 or less. If you would like a more expensive piece of pottery, simply pay the difference in price at classtime.

I would be interested in adult art classes. I live in the Eastlake area. Love to learn jewelry making, metal craft, sculpture and pottery being my favorite. Anyone that knows of classes, please let me know.

Very beautiful results! Students seemed to find it very meditative to learn the different brush strokes and were making their own composition in no time. Photos coming soon!
