Resin Coasters With Pressed Flowers

Getting tired of Winter? Can’t wait till Spring? What better way to take away the Winter blues than to make beautiful resin coasters with pressed flowers inside? In this class, you’ll learn the craft of resin casting. You’ll be able to choose from already pressed flowers or leaves, but I encourage you to bring your own! Half the fun is picking out the flowers you want to press. Potted flowers available now at Home Depot for as low as $.99/pot. Just cut flowers off without their stem and place between pages of a book. Pile more heavy books on top and leave for several days. Bring the book still containing pressed flowers with you to class. Or why should your imagination stop there? Perhaps you prefer to have photographs in your resin coasters or stamps from a stamp collection or foreign coins perhaps? Collage? The possibilities are endless. The flatter the object is, the better. Each student will make a set of 4 coasters.

If you don't want to pay with PayPal and prefer to pay by check, please contact me, (Renee) through Meetup.

Renee was a great teacher. She had an abundance of supplies and really cared about us being satisfied with our work. I would have liked a little more one on one attention but it's hard with five students and only one teacher. Overall I had a great time.

Hi J.R., I apologize for the delayed reply. Life has been so hectic lately! Unfortunately our elevator is broken. There is a steep driveway which takes you to the back of the building which will get you to floor 2.5 with 1.5 flights left of stairs. I'd be happy to come help you up the stairs. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to fascilitate you being able to come. :-)

Is there an elevator? I have disability issues with too many stairs. Would love to attend.
