The Art of Basic Flat Patternmaking will enable Students to Learn how to Develop their own Sewing Patterns based on Measurements for Creating their own Designs & Clothing.  Students will learn how to measure our Standard Industrial Mannequins, which represents a composite figure of the human torso for Pattern Drafting and Draping. Students will develop Basic Slopers that form the Basic Dress Foundation, which has all the key dimensions of the form, in which Patterns, Fit & Designs are based upon. In Students further study, they will be able to develop various Silhouettes, such as Designer Dresses, Wrap Styles, Skirts, Tops, Tank Tops, Tunics, Halters, Jackets, etc. {The list is enless!}
