Movie Night - "HYSTERIA"

  • Sep 28, 2012 · 7:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Please join us for Movie Night and Potluck.

Let's have some fun, mingle, eat, and watch an inspiring movie together.

I saw this particular movie, which was a rather obscure artsy independant film, in the theater and I loved it. I just KNEW I wanted to show it for this group as soon as it became available, so I have been on a waiting list to buy it... and it just came in!

There is no set fee for this event, but donations are welcome.

The suggested donation is $10 per person, but anything is welcome.

Our potluck will start 7:00 pm.
(Please bring a dish to share, or you may contribute to the "pizza fund").

Our Movie will start at about 7:45 pm.

Each month we will present a different thought provoking, inspiring movie or film. Our Presentation of the month will be:

He created an invention that turned on half the world

In an age of invention, one man set out to find a medical cure for what ailed women and accidentally electrified our love lives forever. HYSTERIA is a lighthearted romantic comady that tells the surprizing story of the birth of the electro-mechanical vibrator at the very peak of Victorian prudishness.

Academy Award naminee Maggie Gyllenhaal (Best Supporting Actress, Crazy Heart, 2009) and Hugh Dancy (Adam, Confessions of a Shopaholic) lead an accomplished cast in this untold tale of discovery.

"Funny And Nuaghty."

This was really fun!!! The movie was great... I highly recommend it. We had about 21 people here, cozied up in the nest, and we all had a hysterically good time.

Is this like a meet and greet?

Mike, I guess you "could" call it that. It is a social event where people can meet, greet & watch a fabulous movie.

Now I have an opportunity to share my daughter's birthday in Tahoe so my plans change once again. Enjoy the movie and company, hopefully Jeanetta will do this again.

Tyler, this particular event is not an official "cuddle party". However, if people wish to cuddle during the movie, that would be fine.

Would love to join this but I am usually out of town on Friday night. Saturday or Sunday nights would work for me. And, I live in the neighborhood... :(
