Movie Night - "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel"

  • Dec 21, 2012 · 6:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Please join us for Movie Night and Potluck.

This movie is NOT about massage or an energetic healing modality, but it is a movie that touched my heart and I wanted to share it with all of you. Plus I think this would be a very nice way to spend the evening of the last day of the Mayan Calendar.

Our potluck is from 6 to 7 pm.
Our movie from about 7 to 10 pm.

Each month we will present a different sexy, thought provoking, inspiring movie or film. Our movie of the month will be "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel", followed by an open discussion.

I am NOT charging a set fee for this event. However, the suggested donation is $15, but any donation is welcome. You may choose to make a donation now online, or add your donation to the basket when you are here. Please bring a dish to share for the potluck, or contribute a little something to the pizza fund.

Synopsis: The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel follows a group of British retirees who decide to "outsource" their retirement to less expensive and seemingly exotic India. Enticed by advertisements for the newly restored Marigold Hotel and bolstered with visions of a life of leisure, they arrive to find the palace a shell of its former self. Though the new environment is less luxurious than imagined, they are forever transformed by their shared experiences, discovering that life and love can begin again when you let go of the past.
