Ex-Fabula at Times Cinema, Theme: "Trust Me"

Doors open at 6:30 and stories start at 7:30.
Theme for October: "Trust Me"

Ex Fabula events feature true, personal stories. No props, no notes – just the elements of “Story. Stage. You”. You can come just to listen – or, if you have a story that fits the night’s theme, throw your name in the hat for a chance to take the stage.

At many events, audience members vote for a favorite storyteller at the end of the night.

Stories may contain adult content and some venues have age restrictions.

Door open at 6:30pm, though I may not arrive until closer to 7pm. If anyone is able to arrive at 6:30pm to save seats for everyone, that would be wonderful. If not, we will meet at 7pm in the lobby of the Times Cinema. The event starts at 7:30pm.

what time does the film actually start? or is it even a film?
I'm afraid I'd have to arrive late and would miss you.
at the same time, if it is not a film, but a discussion where people can join in when they can, I could come late. how long does it go?
my class on the UWM campus is officially over at 7:10 pm, however the professor said he would let us out at 7 pm, if we only take one break.

you will have to let me know if this is ok or not, and how I might find you. my cell is 414.688.0888. I could text when I get there, so you can tell me where you are.

is Ex Fabula a series? is it only Tuesday nights?
Wednesday and some Thursday nights are better for me.

Linda, ExFabula is live story telling. People volunteer and if they are chosen, they have 10 minutes. I can't tell you where we will be sitting but can purchase your ticket if you'll be late. The program begins at 7:30. Call me at[masked] the day of the program if you want me to get you a ticket.

Alan, I see in my schedule that there is something else I might be committed to that particular Tuesday night already. I may have to join everyone another at ExFabula time. Sounds interesting.
