Good question- how do I define 'been a Pagan'? I was brought up as a christian, but even while young never felt it was answering questions adequately. Eventually about 20 years ago found out a lot more about Paganism and the Craft, and knew instantly it was for me. After searching for some time found the right group and was accepted for initiation about 10 years ago. I worked either alone or informally with friends for a couple of years before taking over the running of this group and relaunching my own coven, Coven Alderstone
I read widely, but found so much was either contradictory or just did not make sense. I decided a lot of times my own "gut feeling" was my best guide. On being privileged to join a coven, I followed the training course they had ran for some 40 years previously which gave me an excellent grounding in Craft.
Terry Pratchett! also adventure and sci-fi.
Painting, steam railways and sailing
Hi, I'm an practicing, initiated witch; I am seeking others of my faith to to join with me to hold celebrations and socialise. The group where I was initiated ran a good training regime which I'm willing to share with my fellow witches.
Wonderful! Being a practising witch I'm delighted to be able to meet and celebrate the seasonal rituals with similar hearts and minds! This is becoming a vibrant active group.
