Data Monitor - Bilingual in German (Durham)
NeuroCog Trials, a rapidly growing company with close ties to Duke University Medical Center, has been involved in the design and implementation of multi-site clinical trials, including rater training and data quality assurance, and neurocognitive test development, for 10 years.
We are looking for full and part-time bi-lingual data monitors who are fluent in both English and German.
This individual will assist in and learn rater certification on neurocognitive test batteries; review of neurocognitive test batteries for administration and scoring accuracy for multi-site pharmaceutical company trials; and provide forward and back translations of communications between NeuroCog Trials and clinical sites. These clinical trials usually involve a large meeting of investigators and testers who require certification. Travel to US or international meetings is required.
• BA in psychology, neurosciences or related field experience with neuropsychological or
cognitive data collection and analysis, preferred but not required.
• Fluency in English and German, including ability to speak, read and write in both languages, a validation test will be performed.
• Ability to travel as needed, approximately one to three times per year
• Proficiency in Excel
• Experience with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and Alzheimer's disease is also a plus.
