Back in '85 we called it indexing and abstracting. I think the NFAIS and the W3C had a love child and they called it the Semantic Web.
I'm interested to see how the SW is perceived from both an Information Science and an Information Technology point of view.
I am developing a Semantic Web site called ThinkBanQ, a virtual think tank for technology transfer.
The SW can't be stopped (or ignored) and won't be contained (that's just counterintuitive).
