I have followed it passionately (attended 2008 Semantic Technology Conference, 2009 training in DC with TopQuandrant, download journal articles via ACM), but not been in a position to test its implementation. I'm dying to do so!
Knowledge sharing with Atlanta folks who have hands-on experience, opportunity to contribute to local community of interest, support for successful use of semantic technologies in large settings. T'would be nice to talk with others who get it, too!
Semantic technology popped onto my grad school radar in 2002. Eric Miller (the W3C's Semantic Activity Lead) came to the University of Michigan School of Information to brief W3C activity. I'm an advocate for its use in social science research.
