Welcome to the Auckland Night n Day Social Group*, our mission is to offer a fun, safe and friendly environment for people to enjoy events as a group and to enjoy Auckland's nightlife and day events, whether you are new to Auckland or have been living in Auckland for many years.
Auckland Night n Day Social Group was set up in February 2009 when I came across "meetup" by accident, I was looking for social clubs to join, to expand my social circle, as at the time I had some major life changes and I knew that I needed to get out and start meeting new people.
The group is open to people who are single, divorced, a couple with or without children, loud, shy or even a workaholic.
Our regular events:
Friday Night Drinks (Fortnightly)
Held at various venues over Auckland to meet all members living in the different suburbs. This night caters for people who enjoy a chat over a alcoholic/non alcoholic drinks, and for those who enjoy a chat and dance to live bands or djs.
For your own taste please check out which suits you the most, as I enjoy live bands and djs but also enjoy a night with chatting and not screaming in someones ear lol.
Progressive Drinks,Dinner and Dessert Nights (Three monthly)
Held in various venues over Auckland to meet all members living in the different suburbs. This is a unique and different way of dining whereby we have drinks in one venue, and than have dinner in another restaurant and finish the night with dessert in another venue.
All venues are within close walking distance but it is not a night where it is encouraged to spend heaps (unless you want to lol)
Budget Dining Nights (Monthly)
Held in various venues over Auckland to meet all members living in the different suburbs. This night caters for the budget conscious person who may not be able to afford our Progressive Nights and is on a budget but would still like to have an enjoyable evening.
Saturday Night Comedy (Two Monthly)
A night to take away the stress of the week
Disco Bowling (Two Monthly)
If you enjoy the combo of music and bowling than this is for you!
Zouk/Salsa Dancing (Weekly)
For those who enjoy a unique and sexy way of dancing!
Newbie Mingle (Monthly)
A chance to mingle with other new members of the group and a great opportunity if you are feeling a little nervous about attending our bigger meetups and would prefer this as your first meetup.
VIP Celebration (Monthly)
A chance to celebrate you!
Whether its your birthday, a job promotion, a new job, or even and engagement.
Come along and have a picnic tell us about your celebration.
DVD and Takeaway Night (Monthly)
A chance to watch a dvd in a home setting, chill out and chatter with some takeaways.
These are just a taste of our regular events and we arent just about dancing and drinking until the wee hours. If you would like to join us to meet new people and make new friends and join in with our regular events and other events that Auckland has to offer for her night and day life such as movies, live theatre, sports matches and more, than we look forward to meeting you soon!!
