I would still go if it was last minute at the Alamo Drafthouse. I would also go to Mangia Pizza north, I assume you mean at Gracy Farms.
Of course for us Jews the tradition on Christmas is suppose to be Chinese and a Movie but I guess we could make an exception and do Pizza and Dr. Who instead!

It is with no small degree of disappointment that I must announce the cancellation of the scheduled Christmas meet up :(
Bill S. pointed out (and correctly so) that people need time to make plans. Thus, at the end of the first business day of the week of the actual holiday, having not heard anything one way or the other from the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema management, and prioritizing our members' busy schedules over my own 11th hour hopes, I'm calling it.

Now, the good news is that Drafthouse viewings are going to happen. Just not, it seems, this year.
In lieu of that, I suggest the following to our organizers: Host several smaller viewings around the city.
Possibilities include Mangia Pizza (north), The Lion & The Rose (west), the Cherrywood Coffeehouse (central), and the Full English Cafe (south).
I'm willing to host a small group at my place. You know, because I'm going to watch the show when it airs and if anyone else has no alternate plans...
