Come on out for a couple hours of fun. Dancing, hooping, singing, chanting, humming, clapping and use of percussion friendly instruments is encouraged. The location is at Barton Springs near the "monkey tree" just south of the walkway to the free springs wading area and close to the parking lot near the walkway to the public pool. Paul will bring extra drums and shakers if there are at least 13 RSVPs for any given Sunday. Otherwise you will need to have your own drum or shaker to participate in the drum circle. Cheekatee Leemana has agreed to show up for this every Sunday if there are RSVPs or none so this will never be cancelled.
How to find us:
Turn onto Robert E. Lee from Barton Springs Road and take the first entrance on the right. Look for parking spot across the street from Umlauf Sculpture Gardens. The drum circle starts at 4 pm DST pm and usually lasts until the Sun goes down. If you get lost, turn the car off, get out, and listen for the drums .
The drum circle is located where the aqua thumbtack is on the following map.
