Hi, Poodle Friends—
The second annual Pitch and Pooch canine extravaganza is going to be held Saturday April 28 at the Butler Park Pitch and Putt (201 Lee Barton Drive, near Auditorium Shores) and Jack, Winston, Baby Roosevelt and I hope you can come! Hot Club of Cow Town is playing. Think your fur baby channeling Jimmy Buffett! That’s the costume competition theme. It’s a blast and last year several of you attended and Strudel and Sasha walked off with prizes in the costume competition.
The doggy activities and costume competition begin around 4 PM. Lots of fun and benefiting a great cause--the Dream Come True Foundation, which helps high potential individuals and families who are on the edge of success in breaking out of poverty achieve their dreams. Some of our recipients will be attending and they are incredible inspirations.
We’d love to see a whole brigade of costumed poodles. Several other breeds will be there in force—the poodles must prevail. You can register at www.everyonesdreamcometrue.com. Just $25 per dog and that includes a bling bag from Tomlinsons and dinner for you from P Terry’s, plus music and a great silent auction. Such a deal! The event is posted on our meet-up site in suggested events so that you can RSVP there.
Hope to see many of you there!
