Star of Texas Veterinary Hospital welcomes you to our website!
The doctors and team at Star of Texas believe you should be as much a part of your pet's care as you want. We have an open door policy; we allow and encourage you to come in and tour the hospital, meet our doctors, visit your boarding or sick pet, and even watch your pet's dental procedure. We welcome you to feel comfortable and at home in our hospital. Even if you are not a client of ours, please feel free to stop by for a tour and to meet our wonderful team!
Please join us on October 19th from 12:00pm-3pm for fun Halloween festivities!
We will have hot dogs, popcorn, and baked goodies to eat!
As a special treat, for one day only, your favorite shaved ice stand, Ice Box will be back to sell some SnoCones!
This year, the kids have even more to shout about!
We will have a moonwalk and Tiny Tails petting zoo will be back along with a special scavenger hunt/trick-or-treating through our hospital! Kids, wear your costumes for this special day! We will have a face painter here to complete your costume! Bring your teddy bear that needs "surgery" and you can "gown-up" and help Dr. McCoy repair it in our Teddy Bear Surgery!
Come and take a look behind the scenes!
This is also a great time to meet all of our employees! We have a new doctor on our staff, Dr. Mohammed. She is a wonderful addition for us-please come out and make her feel welcome!
We will also be having our Pet Costume Contest!
We will judge the photos and award prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places!
Visit with your Neighbors!
Come out to meet Margaret from The Humaner Trainer who will be demonstrating the wonders of Nose Work. Margaret says any dog can learn this fun game!
Lana Rich, the Catsultant, will be here to discuss cat behavior questions you might have!
New this year! "Lowrider Races"!
At 2:15pm, we will hold our first ever Lowrider Races! Much like the Buda Dachshund Races, ours will be a race down our fenced- in yard to the finish line! Unlike the Dachshund races, our is open to all small (under 15 pounds) dogs! Race in costume or come bare, all small dogs are welcome to attend! Everyone else is welcome to watch what should be a fun time! We will have prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places!
We hope you see you on October 19th!
This event is open to everyone so bring your friends!
