I've been practicing primitive skills since I was old enough to hold a knife and looking to exchange knowledge.
everything
I've successfully hunted with atlatl, black powder, traditional and primitive archery equipment, as well as run a successful furbearer trapline for three years , where I picked up much of my tracking and animal behavior knowledge. I've been bladesmithing for over 10 years, mostly using recycled steel such as automotive leaf and coil spring steels. I've made several functional bows that I and others have used to take game. I have contributed my primitive skills know-how to several youth programs and work well with kids, as I have an awesome child of my own, Milo, who loves to do all the cool stuff his cool dad does. Milo and I practice our skills on a regular basis on hunts; atlatl, archery and black powder, and on outings whenever we can get away. His interest in the primitive arts has inspired me to push myself to learn practice and teach these skills as much as I can.
"My son , Milo, and I practice our primitive skills quite a bit and he is with me 90% of the time...so you better be on it, because he's pretty good!"

Welcome to the group, Robert!
Hi Robert, Just saw your message as for some reason I didn't get an email like I usually do when someone posts. If you get this in time I'd be up for carpooling or following you out if you don't have room for both me and my boyfriend. My number is [masked]. Hope to see you and Milo tomorrow one way or another!
