It's time again for the annual Babies and Mommies of Doylestown family picnic!  Bring the whole family to enjoy a day at Bush park.  We will release more details and a schedule of events as they become available, but here is what to expect:

- BYO Picnic Lunch

- Soft pretzels, cake, and water provided

- Mother's Day craft activity

- Face Painting from 11:30 - 1:30

- Professional photographer on site (get a family photo!) from 11:45 -1:45

- New this year, Bike/scooter/ride-on parade.  Decorate your "vehicle" at home, and bring it for the parade!  Begins at noon!

- Picnic games by age group with ribbons/prizes (Baby crawl race, ball on a spoon race, and potato sack race).  Begins at 12:30.

- 1:00-1:15. Group photo followed by cake

- And of course, fun on the playground equipment and sandbox!

We hope to get a great turn-out this year, please mark your calendar.  If you can volunteer to come a bit early for set up or stay after for clean up, please say so in your RSVP.  We will need about 5 volunteers each for set up and clean up.  There may be additional volunteers needed as well.

Hope to see you there!

Thanks to everyone who gave me a hand today and to everyone else who offered!! Mike got held up at work or we might have stayed longer. Thank you for setting this up ladies! It was nice to meet some more mommies & to see some familiar faces after a long winter! The kids loved the games you had and the face painting was icing on the cake! :) I'm sorry I couldn't help out but I plan to in the future!

We have company coming over this afternoon, so I don't think I'll be able to squeeze it in, but I'll certainly try!

I will have one or two guests with me. My best friend Heather and husband Mike. We have 3 kids, only one will eat or drink anything. I plan to try to help out whether early or after but I can't promise much. :) How early are you going to start setting up?

Thanks Jess! Some of us will get there between 10 -10:30 to start setting up. :)

with 29 kids I'm not so sure a pinata will be such a great idea b/c i can see it now, a pile of toddlers all crying a wining b/c someone got something they wanted or she got more toys than me or I never got a turn to pull the string,.... Maybe I'll just bring snacks, bubbles and maybe sidewalk chalk

Oops, I just realized this was Sunday, not Saturday. I have church until 11:45, so I can't be there early to set up, but I'll be sure to stick around and clean up afterwards.

I am looking forward to it! My husband is working so I'll have my hands full with my 3 little guys & not much of a help with set-up or clean-up. Sorry!

Man, I was hoping to make this, it's such a fun event! I have my cousin's bridal shower 12-1. So if I can get there at the end, I'd like to!

I would love to volunteer set up, but Sundays are already busy volunteering for church. However, if want I could make a pinata or 2 for the little ones to break open for candy and other prizes. I could be in charge of this activity.
