The February BATC meeting will be held at 6:30 PM on February 24th at the Merritt Club in Towson, MD.
The topic will be the most common mistakes we see in the swimming of triathletes, and how to fix them. The guest speaker will be Kevin Joubert. Kevin is nearing his tenth anniversary of teaching triathletes proper swimming. Kevin is a BATC Board member and a USAT certified level 2 coach and American Swim Coaches Association Level 4 masters coach.
The meeting will be a one hour sit down discussion. Then, if you want, an hour in the pool where we will have a coach and mentors familiar with the topics present on deck to help you figure out which is your most pressing need and what to do to fix it, following through on what was in the presentation.
The more socially minded club people will have to let us know the good spot to go to in Towson after the meeting, so keep an eye out for that email.
I don't know about you but if I have a chance to go out for a drink with friends while smelling like chlorine and with my goggle marks intact, I always take that opportunity!
Please RSVP so we can get an idea of how many to expect. Seriously. Please RSVP, last year we had almost 50 attendees!
This meetup is free (can you believe it!) but I encourage you to become a BATC member- email me to find out how!
