Announcing a new Meetup for The Baltimore Area Triathlon Club Meetup!

What: Diamond in the Rough-Bike Course Preview Ride

When: Sunday, June 27,[masked]:00 AM

DITR Transition Area
See website for details
Perryville, MD 21903

Kevin Joubert will be headed up to Perryville to ride the Diamond in the Rough Triathlon Course on Sunday with a start time of 9 AM.

As always it is an excellent idea to get a look at a course before you do the race on it. If you arent racing it, come out for challenging bike ride

We will meet in the park that is the transition area for the race. So take a look at the race website at for directions and be ready to rock at 9 AM.

Email me to let me know to expect you.

If you haven't signed up yet, go ahead and do so at There are 22 of your fellow clubmates that will be there, should be a good time.

Equipment Needs: You are expected to have a helmet, working road or tri bicycle, spare tubes, tools with which to replace a tube, and a device to put air into that tube. If you don't have this you are depending on others to take care of you when you get a flat, and that's not cool. Crazy things happen sometimes, people get a ridiculous number of flats and so forth and that's OK, you can usually borrow equipment in extreme circumstances but if you have a single flat, you'll be expected to change it yourself with your own equipment. Have the right stuff and know how to use it before you go out.

Safety Notes: On any group ride I lead we follow all relevant traffic laws. If you break one of the relevant traffic laws, the ride is off, everyone is on their own to get back home as best they can and you just ruined the day of everyone there.

Environmental Notes: Don't throw or leave anything solid on the ground, even if it is an accident.
