I'm excited to let you all know about the Midnight Run.
The Midnightish fun run is scheduled for Friday September 16th at Lake Montebello at 11PM. The Lake has a well-lit FLAT 1.4 mile running and biking trail around the Lake (Its really a reservoir- but why split hairs?). Meet at the parking lot near the elementary school- located to the right of the Hillen Road/33rd street entrance. We have glowsticks for night running and a bunch of RSVPS- so come join us. If people are interested we can take the very short ride to St. Paul Street afterwards and grab a beer at Charles Village Pub (and watch the look of horror on the Hopkins students' faces as a bunch of runners invade!)
We will run for an hour- and you can run at your own pace- and pick your distance- its a circle after all. At midnight we are having prize drawings for some really SWEET donated items (THANKS SPONSORS!), such as:
A free bike tune-up from Twenty/20 in Hampden
Free Yoga classes from Yoga on York (owned by BATC member Kristina Auth)
A $50 Gift Certificate for Waterstone Bar and Grille in Mt. Vernon
Gas Cards (Donated by BATC Member Jae Sly)
Gift Cards for Twenty/20, Lutherville Bike Shop and more!
BATC Gear- T-shirts, polar fleeces and water bottles
Runner's grab bags (with items every runner needs- Gu, shot blocks, and other random items)
VIP Energy drink items (VIP Energy drink was formalated by BATC member and resident smarty-pants Jae Sly)
We are still working on more gifts!

The Baltimore Area Triathlon Club (BATC) is an official USAT-registered Triathlon club with 100-150 members in the Baltimore metropolitan area. Members receive regular email information about upcoming events such as mock races, workouts, socials, free clinics, and race course previews. Our popular Swim-Bike-Run (SBR) events are sprint-length “brick” workouts (1/2 mi swim, 14mi bike ride, 5K run) that are held regularly throughout the race season. www.baltimoretriathlon.org
