Hello and Happy New Year to everyone!
Please mark your calendars! The BATC January meeting is scheduled for Friday, January 29th at 7pm at the Maryland Athletic Club (MAC), Timonium. www.macwellness.com

is a great opportunity to meet fellow athletes and learn about what our club does.
We're gearing up for the new season and have some business to take care of before the fun begins. There is a proposed change to the By-Laws as well as the annual election of Board of Directors. The current incumbents have agreed to continue to run for their respective positions:
President: Stacy Karwacki
Secretary/Registrar: Kevin Joubert
Treasurer: Sheryl Marshall
Group Workout Coordinator: Ray Reed
Board Member: Mike Wyatt
In addition to these positions, there are 3 board member slots that remain unfilled . Currently, two club members (Bob Villanueva and Andrea Mathias) have offered to volunteer so that leaves one unopposed slot at this time. Again, if you are interested, please let us know! Nominations will also be taken from the floor.Now for the FUN items!
UnderArmour has agreed to continue to offer BATC
members a 40% discount! More to follow in the next week. Please note that you must join the club through the Lin-Mark website to take advantage of the UA discount (Its one of the many perks of being a member!)
BATC has designed new racing & training gear for its members to wear during the 2010 season and beyond! These custom creations will utilize the latest Desoto brand triathlon clothing and truly set us apart from other clubs. Desoto is known for its quality and comfort and we're super excited to be able to use their custom printing service this season. Email me if you would like to see the flyer that shows the gear offered for order this season. Ordering will be done online and that process will be addressed in another email.
Right now you need to find out what size to order! You will have that chance on the 29th - fit-kits will be available for you to determine your appropriate size for ordering. Two other opportunities for
sizing will follow in early & mid February with one of those being in Columbia MD. If you know your size and want to merely order through our online ordering process, that's fine too.
We're only placing one order this season and all member orders must be placed by February 26, 2010 so that we can have race gear in time for the start of the season.
