Earthsave's Veg Dinner Educational Series meets on the last Saturday of each month, giving people a chance to sample a wonderful variety of tasty vegan cuisine and meet lots of friendly, like-minded people. Please RSVP at the number below and let us know whether or not you will be bringing a dish to share.
Earthsave's May 25th vegan potluck will feature a screening of the film documentary "Forks Over Knives", which examines the profound claim that the nearly all of the most common chronic diseases can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting our present menu of animal-based and processed foods. Forks Over Knives focuses primarily on the careers of T. Colin Campbell, PhD, and Caldwell Esselstyn, MD, the nutrition researchers whose work inspired President Clinton to shift to a vegan diet in order to reverse severe cardiovascular disease. Forks Over Knives may be the single best presentation on the health benefits of a whole foods, plant-based diet. Please RSVP and join us!
Dinner Guests may choose to either bring a dish made without animal products (to serve 8) plus $5 donation; pay $12 to enjoy dinner and presentation; or pay $5 for presentation only. We eat first, then make announcements, vote and present awards for our favorite dishes, and then show presentation. Let us know in advance, if possible, if you plan to pay for dinner rather than bring a dish. RSVP by calling[masked], or emailing [masked]. These monthly dinner events are usually held on the last Saturday at the Learning Center of Your Prescription for Health, 10210 S. Dolfield Rd. in Owings Mills. Please RSVP and join us if you can!
