Here's a reminder of what's happening this weekend. We expect a real nice turnout for the veg dinner with Dr. Milton Mills, so an RSVP would be appreciated. And please pay online in advance if you would like to pay $12 for dinner.

EARTHSAVE VEG DINNER SERIES, on Saturday, May. 17th from 6-9 pm, will host a potluck dinner featuring the lecture ?The Natural Diet of Humans: The Impact of Meat Eating on the Human Body,? by Milton Mills MD.

Dr. Mills serves as associate director of preventive medicine for the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM), a North American group of doctors and laypersons dedicated to promoting better nutrition and higher research standards.

As an African-American physician focusing on preventive medicine, Dr. Mills has delved into some of the environmental and societal influences affecting health. Dr. Mills has lectured and given research seminars across the United States and in Mexico on such topics as the negative impacts of meat and dairy consumption on human health; nutrition and HIV/AIDS; nutrition and cancer; and the dietary needs of various ethnic groups.

ADVANCE REGISTRATION REQUIRED FOR MAY 17: There are two options regarding food: 1) You may bring a potluck dish to share, one that will serve 5 or more people, (or serve five times the number in your party). A $5 donation is requested of those who bring food. 2) You may attend without bringing a dish for a $12 fee. Monthly dinner/lecture events are held on the second Saturday at the Learning Center/Yoga Studio of Your Prescription for Health, 10210 S. Dolfield Rd. in Owings Mills. DIRECTIONS From Beltway 695: Traveling east, take 795 (Northwest Expressway). Get off at Exit 4 (Owings Mills Blvd). Bear right when exit splits. Take right at first traffic light (South Dolfield Road). Travel approximately l/4 mile. Flying Avocado Caf? and "Your Prescription for Health" pharmacy is on the right after Golds Gym. The Learning Center/Yoga Studio entrance is at the opposite end of the building.
DIRECTIONS From Reisterstown Road: Travel West on Painters Mill Road. Turn right at 2nd traffic light onto S. Dolfield Road. Go left at the second driveway into the parking lot of Your Prescription for Health.

OPEN HOUSE AT YOUR PRESCRIPTION FOR HEALTH will happen on Sunday, May 18, from 10 am - 5 pm. Come and say ?hi? and get some free literature at Earthsave?s information and book sales table. "Your Prescription for Health" radio show will broadcast live from onsite. There will also be Qi Gong and Yoga Demonstrations, a Gluten Sensitivity talk by Dr. Pawluk, an Osteoporosis talk by Dr. Ray Hinish, and an Emotions and Health talk by Brian Sanderoff and Randi Botnick.
