Kiran Kissa was a Graduate Student at University of Maryland College Park and a volunteer of AID. He quit his ambitious $ dream and returned to India working on farmers issues. He leads AID in Alliance For Sustainable and Hollistic Agriculture (ASHA). In 2011, he was part of Kisan Swaraj Yatra, Farmers self-rule rally, which went across 15 Indian states to pressurize government of India to support Organic farming and farmers. He will be speaking at AID Annual Banquet about his work related to Millet farming and farmer suicides in central India.
I invite you to attend our Annual Banquet on June 9th at 6 pm in Mattin SDS, 3400 N Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21218.
AIDJHU is now 10 years old and we would like to showcase our work through people who are working on the ground.
All the speakers have traveled across India to find problems and also the solutions.
