Free Class: A menu of Love & More
Here?s a reminder that I will lead a class in the caf? at Whole Foods in Mt. Washington called ?A menu of Love: The Vegetarian Lifestyle class? this Tuesday, Nov. 18th from 7 ? 8pm. These classes are always a little different and are fun. I first give folks a broad introduction to the veg/vegan lifestyle and tell them how I got interested in vegetarianism, then we take a look at things that get in the way of healthier eating for people. Be sure and register by phone with Whole Foods customer service if you plan to attend.
Lots more fun is planned for this Saturday in Owings Mills. I hope you are planning to attend Earthsave?s Turkey Free Celebration; it?s our annual pre-Thanksgiving vegetarian potluck, featuring live music, group discussions, cooking awards and more. That?s at the Learning Center of Your Prescription for Health at 10210 South Dolfield Rd, off of Painters Mill Rd. in Owings Mills. All the details are at http://earthsavebaltimore.org/
. I plan to bring my voice and guitar. Hope to see you there!
If you will be around the night before Thanksgiving, why not join the Baltimore Vegan Meetup group at 7 pm at Mr. Chan restaurant in Pikesville? Folks really seem to enjoy meeting at that location, and we all agree that the food is amazing!
Peace, Don Robertson

MONTHLY VEG MEETUP DISCUSSION GROUPS offer us a chance to gather in more intimate and less formal settings than does the monthly Earthsave potluck dinner/lecture series. Meetups are casual and are held in restaurants over great vegetarian food. Discussions include a variety of topics that support people in making healthier choices in diet and lifestyle. There are two different groups, one vegan and one vegetarian. The vegetarian group currently meets on the first Sunday, at noon, at the Kathmandu Kitchen in Towson, and the vegan group meets on the fourth Wednesday, at 7 pm, at Mr. Chan in Pikesville. Both groups welcome anyone who is interested in learning about healthier eating. For details, or to register and let others know you plan to attend, go to http://vegetarian.meetup.com/9/
