Shooting the Breeze!

Ok guys, it's time to update this page...

It seems like this group has become more stable now so I think it's worth giving more specific information about it.

First of all, it's ok to come late. We usually hang out upstairs since there is much more space there. Second of all, don't expect any fireworks; this is a very informal gathering mainly geared towards socializing, and although I try my best to be as accomodating as I can, I have no way to please everyone so try to come with a good attitude and I'm sure you'll have a good time. Some of us have become regulars and sometimes we have dinner afterwards.

Please make sure you read all messages as they are sent. I say this because there are times when I can't attend or things change and I completely wash my hands if you don't update yourself on what's going on.

Also, PLEASE CHANGE YOUR RSVP if you change your mind about attending. Some of us make a commitment to be there and I think it's not polite to sign up if you are not serious about coming. Don't take this personal, but  I am not a big fan of flakes and slackers.

There is a high probability that I MIGHT BE LATE, so don't be shy and look for the international crowd upstairs (the bartender is quite friendly too). The bar opens at 8:00pm so there's no need to be there before that time.

Last but not least, as my fellow Yankees say, there is NO CHARGE for this meetup.

Fortunately, our friend Lorraine is generous enough to allow you guys to be part of our group in Santa Monica, so if you come across her, give her a big hug. However, if the Chinese take over, we might just have to collect donations from you, but for now cheer up!!

Me acabo de apuntar a este grupo. Quiza pueda sorprender a algunos pero mi deseo es de aprender el...català! Acabo de empezar clases de català. A cambio ofrezco ingles, italiano y frances los cuales idiomas suelo hablar muy bien. What do you think, qu´en penses-tu, cosa ne pensi?

Hi everyone! Just one question: I have to meet someone this evening before this meetup. If she felt like joining the group although she's not a member, would she be able?
