This is the repeated Introduction Meetup for the wine lovers and guests who are beginners in Spanish Wines.

Very recommended to anyone who is ready to start the sailing in the Spanish "liquid" geography!

During our 2-hour meeting we will learn about the basics of Spanish wines.

The participants will be greeted with a glass of Cava and learn about the differences between Cava and Champagne.

Then we touch upon Spanish wine zones and classification regulations, Spanish grape varieties, and learn to "decipher" labels on Spanish wine bottles.

We will review the basics of sensorial analysis, learn how to keep tasting notes/sheets and taste 4 wines: 2 whites and 2 reds.

Then we will speak about easy way of pairing food and wine and serving temprerature.

Snacks and appetizers will be provided, as well as the list of addresses of the best vinotecas in Barcelona.

The cost for participation is 25 EUR per person, to be paid either by cash at the workshop, or prepaid via PayPal or bank transfer (in this case the details to be advised by personal email).

The space is limited to 15 participants at a time.

Please RSVP by the morning of February 01 latest, as we need to consider the amount of wine and snacks to be purchased. In case of cancelation, we will appreciate your early notification, to give the possibility to the waitlisted members to participate.
