Religion for Atheists by Alain De Botton

Rather than mocking religions, agnostics and atheists should instead steal from them - because they're packed with good ideas on how we live and arrange our societies. Blending deep respect with total impiety, Alain proposes that we should look to religions for insights into how to build a sense of community, make our relationships last, get more out of art, overcome feelings of envy and inadequacy, and much more.

I read the book and really enjoyed it. I have read almost all of de Botton's books and recommend any of them. Looking forward to the March meet up (I can't make February).

Like everything in life, depends on your expectations. I am familiar with De Botton's work, so he did not disappoint.

Hi Alex, welcome to the group. Please join the waiting list. I update the attendance a few days before the event and chances are you'd be able to join.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
