New Central Bristol Heritage Walk: North East

  • Neptune Statue

I have been asked by a member who joined after I had done most of my walks to do another, to do another heritage walk and agreed to do it 31st August 2013. We need all to be at the Neptune Statue on Broad Quay by 10.30am. The Walk we are doing is North East as described on my blog. I have taken a break from being an organiser, so I am just letting people know who have appreciated my walks before. Depending on numbers, it will take 90mins to 2hours. Feel free to bring a camera if you wish.

There is no need to book, but it would be nice if you could let me know if you are interested in joining us, or doing another walk on the blogspot.

Thanks Elizabeth

Hi Elizabeth, I'm not sure if I'm going to make this as have had a bit of sciatica so will just turn up at 10.30 tomorrow if I feel up to it. Hope to see you then.

It would be good to see you Katrina, touch wood I have never had sciatica but I know people who have and it can be very painful. If you feel up to it early on no offence if you don't complete. We are always near a bus route on this one!

Looking forward to tomorrow. I will bring a drink along with me as we won't be stopping.

Look forward to meeting you. There will be coffees available around the Centre to take away, and places en route to buy to go if anyone gets peckish or thirsty. Its just if we sit down for long we tend to loose motivation to finish the route and I am on a very tight budget!

I am leading this walk and I am not planning to stop for a coffee on route so please bring drinks or nibbles with you, and be prepared for warm sunny weather or downpours. Its all pavements and only a bit of hills, about 3 miles circular walk, including Old City, Georgian Squares, St James, and Quakers Friars, and a bit of street art too. Please do not book on the suggestion titled Bristol Heritage Walk: North East, it is exactly the same walk!

As someone has kindly turned this suggestion into an event for me, I have created confusion with a different suggestion for the same event. So please sign up for this event, not the suggestion.

Sorry this got lost for a bit, please use the other suggestion, as I rewrote it, until I can find a way of deleting this one!

Hi Katrina, when I checked the suggestion there was a system error, so I did it again, I could not find a way of deleting this. I will put myself as going but I will have to let people know there are two suggestions, which are the same walk.

Katrina, I think you must have turned this suggestion into an event for me, thank you! Or am I just very confused!

I have put myself back on this walk. I ended up with two walks, which are the same event as there was a blip on the system and I could not access this suggestion at one point. So the one that says Bristol Heritage Walk: North East, is exactly the same walk. http://www.channel4.com/programmes/10-years-younger/4od#[masked]

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
