Do you want to learn about something unique, has interesting history combined with a guided walk with a difference Be in Quick numbers are very strict & limited! If so I hope to see you there Come & learn about Bristol's where own first dinosaur was found and enjoy a 3 hour history wildlife walk with Stoke Park's horticulturist and amateur geologist Steve England. This is a one off event which is not to repeated as a University of Bristol Walk Event.

We will be walking to the Downs and looking at where Thecodontosaurus “Theco” was found, the walk will last around three hours and we will be going to the quarry and then return to the Bristol museum to have a look at the real dinosaur bones where Steve will speak about other history etc.
Book by Emailing Steve, otherwise you will miss out!! As this will be a popular event members of the public and other public different walking groups will be attending so Very Important : I only have been allocated a maximum total number of only 10 places: When booking" Please mention the Meetup group and myself, Katrina Coleman, so both Steve & I know where you have booked from as to which group you are attending.

After walk we will can optionally meet up in Clifton at a Pub for lunch to reflect on the days events and enjoy a well deserved drink & food as I expect you will all have gathered a big hungry appetite. Pub lunch location to be decided on the day depending on winning overall vote.
If we are all not too tired afterwards- We can then check out the exhibition of the there is an optional trip - To see the start of the dinosaur sculpture, which is made of clay and stone, being built in the M' Shed.
