Horrible Murders & Invisible Ice Houses- Along & Around The Frome Valley

Cromwell Stayed Here!

We will walk down the Frome valley from Fishponds to Eastville Park and back via Wickham Glen and Stapleton Manor Icehouse and Eastville Park Lake.

Plus the usual pit stop at Snuff Mills cafe on the way.

The walk is Approx 4 miles, with some very steepish slopes. If wet it's possible there will be some mud.
It is a substantially new walk, as we have never been much ventured below Snuff Mills before.

We finish for Lunch in Fish ponds High Street in either The Van Dyck Wetherspoons pub or The Old Office pub which ever is the most popular that we decide on the day.

Change of plan, I'm now coming as my holiday cruise has now been delayed for another fortnight so I'm now pleased I can join you all on a lovely walk, most of you probably wouldn't have known existed.

Im thinking of going to this. Would it be okay to bring my dog? It would mean I couldn't stop for lunch but thats not a problem. I could sit outside on the terrace of the cafe for the pit stop

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
