Creative writing session in Bristol

  • A meeting to write creatively either on your own or in pairs/groups if people wish to try collaboration. As this will be the first time we meet, I am leaving it open to people to decide what form of writing they wish to do. eg. I will be writing a scene for a play during the session but others may wish to write poetry or prose. If you have something that you want to continue working on, bring it along.

I will also bring along a couple of ideas for writing creatively if you are stuck for ideas.

I thought we could write for about an hour then spend the last part hearing each other's work and offering constructive comments. It would also be nice if we could discuss if this is something we want to do again and perhaps share ideas for future locations and themes for writing.

I look forward to meeting up with you and sharing our creativity :)

Hi Claire. I won't be able to make this one. Weekends are best for me as I'm up with the lark for work during the week. I'll change my RSVP but will keep an eye on what goes on. If there is ever a weekend session I'll be there for sure *crosses fingers for the future*

I will probably do different days/times so the next one will probably be a Saturday afternoon in January.

Would be very interested in this in the future, if it's going to be Weds evenings, but unfortunately I won't be free till after Christmas.

I think it would be great if we could meet up before the Christmas parties start so how are people fixed for Thursday 21st November at 7pm? I will see if the Nova Scotia will let us use their room but if anyone has any other suggestions, feel free to air them!

The Nova Scotia is booked for 21st November so I have changed it to Wed 20th November at 7pm.
