First class stories, and the film was enjoyable and screamingly funny from a 2013 perspective in some aspects.

I really enjoyed the evening, I had forgotten just how funny the film appears to be from 2013, and how amazing those station scenes are. I actually remember stations like this from my childhood. That dates me!!!
Thanks for organising it. I loved the stories too. They were all great.

I'll be performing a story on the night, so will probably be quite near the front ...but hopefully we'll have time to chat beforehand in the bar? I usually get there about half an hour before it starts, so this time I'll be there just after 7. Unfortunately I won't be able to stay for the film because I have to travel the following morning and have to make an early start, but hope that's OK. Look forward to seeing everyone!

Hi Caroline - you can either get a bus from the station, or alternatively it's a 15-20 minute walk. If you go to www.burdallsyard.org.uk it gives you travel info and links to bus timetables, as well as a map. See you there!

It's a classic classic! Haven't seen the film for ages but the theme is as valid as ever - 'Bridges of Madison County' and 'The English Patient' ? Literature, a film, music and good company - what more could you wish for on a Friday evening!? @:)

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
